Almost Heaven is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home which can comfortably sleep up to 12 people. Ideally located within minutes to year round activities such as hiking, skiing, and kayaking amongst the many activities in the area. With lakes, mountains, and rivers all around, this is an ideal location for those seeking fun and adventure.
Located on a hill overlooking a valley, Almost Heaven is situated in an ideal location for foliage season. With ample amount of hiking just minutes away, we are also centrally located to Waterville, Loon, and Cannon Mountains.
On the southern edge of the white mountains in rural Campton, NH, we welcome you to a serene, private church-turned-farm house. Originally built in 1853, Almost Heaven was used as a church to serve the few hundred residents of Campton. Updated over the last 100+ years, you will still see unique features that recall it's former life as a church.

Situated on the Southern Edge of the White Mountains

We are Mocha and Barkley! We have been fortunate to hit the rescue doggie lotto! This home is dog friendly, so you can bring your lotto winning family dog on vacation too!
We would like to remind everyone that this home is pet friendly and rural. There's lots of wild animals on the property and in the surrounding area. This home is located on 12 acres with 100 acres across one street and another 25 acres across the other.
Deer, Bears, Foxes, Coyotes, Wild Turkey's, Fisher Cats, and even some unidentifiable weasel looking things have been spotted on the property. Our owners keep us on leash in the morning and at night, just in case. They also put GPS collars on us...just in case.
So while we are dog friendly vacation home on 12 acres of rural land surrounded by acres and acres of woods, we encourage you to keep a close eye on your dogs and be aware of your surroundings when you walk with them. Making noise to let your presence be known isn't a bad idea either!
